The Highland Croft is a veteran- and family-owned and operated ranch in the heart of Montana, inspired by our deep appreciation for our Scottish heritage, traditional ways of living, and the belief that some of the best things in life are built through hard work, family, faith, and a connection to the land.

Our croft is our way of bringing a little piece of the Scottish Highlands to the Montana countryside. From our Highland cattle and Scottish heritage livestock to our gardens, pastures, and handcrafted farm goods, much of what we do is influenced by the traditions, resilience, and resourcefulness of the generations who came before us.

As a veteran-owned ranch, service is also an important part of who we are. The same values of dedication, perseverance, responsibility, and service that shaped our family's military journey continue to guide the way we care for our animals, steward our land, raise our family, and serve our community.

Life at The Highland Croft is very much a family endeavor. Our days are spent tending livestock, working the land, growing and preserving food, creating traditional and handcrafted products, and continually learning the skills that allow our family to live a more self-sufficient and intentional life. We believe there is tremendous value in knowing where our food comes from, caring well for the animals entrusted to us, making things with our own hands, and teaching these skills to the next generation.
